About Oz
Oz is a 4-year-old, medium-sized male pit bull mix with a striking brindle coat and short fur. He's playful, sharp, and has a soft spot for toys—his silly side comes out when he's in the mood for fun. Oz knows 'sit', 'lay down', 'roll over', and 'wait', so basic commands are covered. He tends to be shy with new people but, with some patience (and treats), he'll warm up and show his affectionate, cuddly side. Oz is looking for a home where he's the only animal; he doesn't get along with cats or dogs and prefers all the spotlight. He's housebroken and will give a charming little trot to let you know when he needs to go outside. Crates are not his thing, but he handles having free roam indoors without trouble. He fits best with a calm, patient adopter willing to let him adjust at his own pace—if so, he'll return the favor with plenty of devotion and affection. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
