Meet this handsome boy, Enzo! He is a neutered male, 2 yr old German Shepherd mix and weighs about 77 lbs. We're pleading for someone to open their home to this big boy. Enzo was found as a stray on 05.22.25 after being hit by a car going 45 mph. He’s healed from a pulmonary contusion and had an FHO surgery to repair a pelvic fracture on 07.30.25. He is recovering from his surgery in his foster home and is expected to be back to himself at the end of August. Since we've had Enzo, he's had to stay on restricted activity to heal, but in a few weeks, we expect Enzo to gain his exercise and strength back. He is definitely some kind of working breed and will be a higher energy pup! We are looking for an adopter willing to open their home for Enzo! He is potty trained and doing well being crated. His foster says he is a smart dog and is very responsive to correction and training. Enzo is timid of new people but once he knows you, he is a big mush and very loving and sweet. He just needs someone willing to give him time to adjust to be surroundings. Only older/mature children in the home, no little kids. Enzo has been good with other dogs (but can be dominant if given the chance). We recommend no cats in the home. Enzo is vaccinated and neutered!
