Miracle is a young female Domestic Short Hair, about 1 year and 7 months old, with a vibrant calico coat and lives in New York, NY. She has a short coat and is spayed, house trained, and current on vaccinations. Miracle has some special needs due to scarring from a past mouth infection, but she remains full of energy and affection. As a Libra, she has a natural sense of charm and balance.

About Miracle

Miracle came from the streets of Egypt, where she survived a severe mouth infection and a system with almost no safety nets for animals. After extensive treatment in Cairo, she finally made it to New York, flying over with two other rescued cats. Miracle's jaw and gums are forever marked by scarring, leaving one side of her mouth a bit exposed. As a result, she loves to chew—on toys, especially, and her foster home keeps her well-stocked. Despite her permanent scarring, she’s a striking, remarkable young cat. At first, Miracle was deeply stressed after her long journey, but after decompressing, her true spirit emerged. She is clever, bold, and endlessly playful, often taking charge among the fosters and insisting on a good lap for herself. She does well with cats, preferring those with the same playful stamina, but isn’t a match for dogs. When she feels safe, Miracle is intensely affectionate: she will happily curl up and purr on a lap for long stretches, showing deep appreciation for gentle companionship. Her resilience isn’t just remarkable—it’s central to who she is, and she’s ready for a home that celebrates her energy and quirks. A home with another energetic young cat and a person who welcomes a lap cat would suit her best. Miracle’s story is one of surviving hardship, healing, and not letting her unusual needs dampen her spirit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
