About Honey
HONEY came to Place For Cats from NYC ACC (#175700.) HONEY is healthy, exuberantly energetic when he thinks no humans are watching, although at his core he is very shy. Honey has been fostered in a home with a deluge of other young kittens and he getss along with them all though his very favorite partner is Petey, a 10-year-old neutered male house cat. (Dozens of pics of the two of them together.) Otherwise, Honey plays endlessly with all the kittens fostered in the home. Honey, a stunning black swirl tabby, is FeLV/FIV tested negative, current in vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. Honey developed an infection at the site of neutering and spent a week in hospital at the Animal Medical Center. They saved his life though he was left with a 7" scar all along his belly (final photo.) He's fully recovered but the experience made him even more timid around humans. Honey's proposed mate is Lavender (listed here separately.) She is the same age, very trusting, affectionate and outgoing. Together, Lavender's and Honey's personalities complement each other. The kittens would do well to be adopted together. Lavender's confidence will give Honey tremendous strength in the transition to a new home. While we are eager to meet all prospective adopters, we request to receive your application in advance of scheduling a meet-and-greet with the foster home.
