Sake
AvailableSake is a small, yellow/tan Terrier and Chihuahua mix living in Dallas, TX. She is a young spayed female with a medium coat length. Sake is not yet house trained and does not let her mild megaesophagus hold her back in daily life. She is vaccinated and ready to bring her energetic personality into a loving home.
About Sake
Sake arrived alongside her brother Sushi when she was just six weeks old. Now one year old and weighing in at 23lbs, she’s grown into an active, playful, and curious dog who’s brimming with energy. The rescue suspects Sake is a Terrier and Chihuahua mix, though she doesn’t really resemble her brother. Sake lives with a mild form of megaesophagus, a congenital condition that affects her ability to swallow. She manages well eating from a raised feeder and drinks water without trouble. Sake has a custom Bailey chair (included for her adopter if needed down the road). The hope is that, with time, she may outgrow her ME. Sake gets along well with other dogs, and she’s comfortable around cats and children as well. Her high energy means she’ll fit best with an active family who understands the responsibility of adopting a dog who may need extra consideration. Sake is already spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. An experienced adopter is essential for her; she needs patience and someone willing to support her through potential challenges. Bring Sake home and see what a rewarding difference a little extra care can make. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
