About Misty
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Misty is a large and striking 4-year-old Mountain Cur mix with a beautiful short brindle and white coat. She weighs about 46 pounds and is still regaining her ideal weight after arriving underweight. Misty is eager to move beyond her shelter life and settle into a forever home filled with love and companionship. In her short time at the shelter, Misty has truly impressed everyone—she adores meeting new people and charms all with her wagging tail and affectionate nature. A social butterfly, Misty loves nothing more than being around people. However, she becomes quite stressed around other dogs, so she’ll need to be the only pet in her adoptive home for now. While she's had a few positive nose-to-nose introductions with friendly dogs, her comfort and well-being will be best supported in a solo-pet environment. Misty has tested negative for both heartworms and Lyme. She is spayed, microchipped, has up-to-date vaccinations, and is completely ready to join your family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
