About Welder
What do the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, Walmart and your home all have in common? None of them would be standing without the skill of experienced welders! Maybe it was Career Day when Welder got his name, because we’re pretty sure he should not have access to any tools wielding flames! Despite his funny name, he is a darling boy, and we’d love to introduce you! Here’s what one volunteer said: “Welder is a friendly pup who has come a long way during his time at PACC! The first time I met him he was nervous and didn’t want to walk far. I noticed though that when another dog passed by in the distance, Welder was curious and wanted to follow. It turns out that he gains confidence from having a friend! As soon as he got a kennel mate (he’s had several), he was a different dog! These days Welder looks forward to his walks and loves to get out in the fresh air. He walks well on leash and he also enjoys bouncing around a play yard. This very good boy is always happy and has shown that he just needs a little time to find his groove in a new place.” Welder shares his kennel politely with another pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. He can be a shy guy in new environments, so he’s looking for a home where his family who will take Welder’s lead and go slowly. We’ve seen him warm up in the shelter environment and are certain that he will do the same in a home! Welder is ready to settle into the peace and love of a new home; come meet him today!
