Seal isn't your typical desert dweller, but he fits right in at PACC. Part German Shepherd, part Pit Bull Terrier, and all heart, Seal may have earned his name for his fondness for water and his velvety-soft coat. He loves to splash in the kiddie pool, dive nose-first into troughs, and cool down between bursts of tennis ball play, much to the delight of the staff and volunteers who can't get enough of his affectionate, cuddly personality. Seal was picked up as a stray, but his finder described him as friendly with people and well-behaved around a cat. In the yard, he’ll explore and sniff, but comes over quickly for a cuddle or a scratch, offering up sweet nuzzles and kisses. He’s playful, easy to leash, and curious about everything. Volunteers say Seal is independent but tolerant around other dogs—he’s mellow but enjoys companionship, and he'd benefit from a proper introduction to any resident pets.
