Sasha is a medium-sized, red and black Shepherd with a short coat. She’s an adult female, spayed, and vaccinated. Sasha isn’t house trained yet and currently lives in Anna, IL. She weighs about 40 lbs and is looking for a dedicated adopter to give her the home she deserves.

About Sasha

Sasha came to PAWS as a young adult, but life threw her a curveball and she found herself back in their care. At 8 years old, she's eager for connection and craves attention from people. Sasha’s leash manners make her a reliable walking buddy, and she's always keen to please. She will not tolerate cats or small dogs, so she must be the only pet (or possibly with a large dog after careful introductions), and she hasn’t been around small children—an adult home or one with older kids is best. Sasha has a slim build at around 40 lbs, and her short red and black coat glows in the sun. For her safety, a fenced yard is a must, since she may try to escape until she settles in and bonds with you. Sasha wants nothing more than to share the couch, play with toys, and have someone to enjoy life’s quieter moments with. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and taking Heartworm Preventative. With her birthday on March 1, she's a Pisces—known for loyalty and gentleness. Ready to meet your new best friend?
