About Poppy
Meet Poppy—a sweet, energetic young pup about a year old, eager for a fresh start in her forever home. Poppy has a wiggly, affectionate nature and genuinely enjoys canine company; she’ll thrive with a dog buddy to help show her the ropes. She’s also wonderful with children, showing gentle patience and an easygoing vibe at home. You won’t have to worry about house training; Poppy’s never had an accident indoors, making her a low-mess addition to the family. She absolutely loves belly rubs and will shamelessly offer her belly to anyone willing. Poppy can be shy at first, but with a bit of time and trust, she transforms into a complete snuggle bug who settles right into your lap. She’s still learning her way on a leash, so some extra patience and continued training are needed—but she’s progressing. Fair warning: Poppy loves to chew, so sturdy toys and puppy-proofing are part of the deal. She’s still got plenty of puppy spirit and will need a family that can guide her as she grows up. Poppy is currently in foster care—call to set up a visit if she sounds like your match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
