She’s most comfortable around other cats and needs a calm, patient home to help her adjust.

About Killian

Killian is one of the three musketeers rescued from a difficult life off Sawmill Rd. This adult female, around 11 lbs, spent her early years scrapping for food and shelter near an apartment complex, always sticking close to her friends Merida and Cheese. They watched other pets cozy indoors, but kept to themselves, trusting only each other. Killian stands out as the most timid of her group. She has a congenital defect in one eye, which gives her a squint—like a little pirate—and while her vision is affected, vets confirm that she isn’t in pain. Despite a guarded demeanor, Killian’s curiosity helps her follow her foster family from room to room. At night, she sleeps nearby but at a safe distance, always watchful. Her history is rough; she’s survived multiple litters, but sadly, none of her kittens made it. Today, she’s begun to play and shows moments of happiness, mainly alongside her friends, but she’s not fully ready to trust humans yet. Killian is fully house trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She gets along with other cats but isn’t suited for a home with children. She’ll need a patient adopter committed to earning her trust. Your home could be the place where Killian finally learns what comfort really means. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
