Pablo
AvailableThis small, reddish brown and golden mixed breed (Pug/Terrier) male dog has a curly coat and is currently with Pets Are Worth Saving Inc. (PAWS). He is young and estimated to have been born on July 1, 2020. Pablo is already neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. He requires a quiet, child-free and pet-free home with a fenced yard, ideally with an experienced adopter willing to help him come out of his shell.
About Pablo
Your new best friend is just one click away. Pablo is one of ten small, defenseless little dogs who were abandoned among expansive soybean and corn fields, an ordeal no animal should endure. He was adopted about a year ago, and for a while everything seemed fine, but he began to bite and was returned to PAWS. Since coming back, Pablo has not shown aggression, but he continues to show the same shyness and timidity as before his adoption. Pablo will thrive in a household without children and in a very calm, quiet environment. His perfect adopter is someone experienced working with sensitive or unpredictable dogs, who can provide him the patient, understanding care he needs. Pablo must have a fenced yard and should be the only pet in the home—he loves to be the alpha and does not get along well with cats or other dogs. Despite his fears and need for a low-key setting, Pablo is a beautiful reddish-brown boy with a curly coat, weighing about 18 lbs, and is funny, inquisitive, and eager to explore when he feels safe. Born around July 1, 2020, his sun sign is Cancer, which means he is likely extra sensitive and loyal to his people. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Pablo
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Pug/Terrier mixes often do well in both apartments and houses, as long as they receive enough attention and exercise. They benefit from a calm and stable home, especially if they are timid or shy.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This small breed mix doesn't require a large yard but does appreciate regular opportunities for safe outdoor exploration. A secure, fenced yard is ideal for their safety and enjoyment.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Pug/Terrier mixes can be good with older children, but due to their potential for shyness and unpredictability, they are usually better suited for homes without young children.
