About Olivia
Olivia, known as Ollie, is a gentle pit bull terrier who’s come a long way during her stay in the shelter. At first, she was overwhelmed and unsure, but has slowly grown to trust the people caring for her. She’s dealt with quite a bit—a tough bone infection cost her a toe, leaving her with a quirky little paw, and a thyroid issue that left her sluggish and heavier than she liked. Now, well-managed on the right medication, she’s feeling better and is back in shape. Ollie spent a day out on the town recently and showed she’s patient and polite with strangers, good on a leash, and doesn’t get worked up over other dogs or wildlife. She enjoyed lounging at bookstores, accepted attention graciously, and tried her luck with a Puppuccino before selecting her own rawhide at the pet store. She travels fairly well but takes a bit of time to settle in the car. Ollie loves a cozy nap spot and isn’t shy about snoring—she deserves a nice, soft bed in her future home. She does well with kennelmates and was appropriate with other dogs during evaluations, but she’ll likely be happiest as your only pet. Ollie is looking for a quiet home with a family ready to appreciate her easygoing, affectionate nature. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
