About Bonnie

Bonnie is a survivor. For months, she wandered Columbus, OH, with no one to call her own—fed by kind neighbors but never invited in. All winter, she waited patiently outside at doorsteps, a familiar black and white shape hoping for a spot by someone’s fire. She kept trying to come indoors, but no one let her in. Finally, a couple noticed her, took her in, and discovered what everyone had missed: Bonnie is a sweetheart through and through. On her first day inside, she was beside herself with joy—purring, rubbing, loving the attention even more than her food. She made her new people feel special just by being near. Life threw Bonnie another curveball when her new family learned she was FeLV positive. That means she can’t live with FeLV-negative cats, but she doesn’t pose a risk to people, dogs, or other animals. Cats with FeLV may not have as many years ahead, but Bonnie still has so much affection to give. She craves a warm home where she’ll be cherished for every day she gets—whether that’s just one year or eleven. If you can open your heart to a friendly cat with a short, tuxedo coat and a deep need to belong, Bonnie’s waiting to meet you. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
