About Bernard

Handsome Bernard has made a lot of progress since arriving at the rescue in March 2023 after his family's separation and move. He shares his space with several other cats and, while he can get overstimulated at times, he has become gradually more comfortable with them and with volunteers. When he arrived, Bernard came in with his sister Ruby. The pair isn’t bonded, but they would make a good team if you’re considering adopting two. Bernard prefers a calm, quiet home without small children. He’s tolerant of gentle attention and would probably get along with older, cat-savvy kids or teens. He is not comfortable with lots of grabbing or energetic play and appreciates people who respect his boundaries. Bernard is neutered, tested, and current on all his vaccinations.
