Meet Carmella, a gorgeous golden brindle and white sweetheart who was found as a stray in Petersburg on November 7th. With her flower collar and soft, hopeful eyes, it’s clear she was once a well-loved house dog — and she carries that same gentle, trusting spirit with her still. Carmella is a little on the chunky side, in the most adorable way, and her mellow, affectionate nature makes her instantly endearing. She’s housebroken, calm in her kennel, and happiest simply being near people. Whether she’s quietly resting on her blanket or leaning in for attention, Carmella radiates a calm, comforting warmth.
