After being adopted and then returned when a relative grew uneasy around him, Ivan landed in the Triple E Program at Dogs Playing for Life’s Canine Center Florida. There, he’s become a real standout. He knows sit, place, loose-leash walking, and politely waits at open doors. He’s had hands-on work with professional trainers and volunteers to build these practical skills. When it comes to dogs, Ivan does best with rough-and-rowdy playmates whose style matches his own. He’s met plenty of compatible dogs after careful, structured introductions, and adopters with another dog will get our team's help to make sure everyone gets off on the right foot. When Ivan’s not showing off his skills, he’s a loyal, engaged companion who bonds deeply with people. What he needs is an adopter willing to see past a label and appreciate the affectionate, intelligent dog in front of them.
