Meet Dior! This special pup has gone through it! Dior came to PACC unable to walk and blind. Likely some sort of head trauma/HBC. She is healing in foster home and doing well! She sleeps through the night. No accidents in her bed (kennel) no whining, ... She goes right to sleep! Potty training is ongoing. I put down puppy pads and they get played with, slid on and moved everywhere so I am just vigilante as to when she's drinking/ eating and getting her outside! My cat has become her partner in crime! They play together, lay together, hide together and sometimes Dior allows her to take a sip from her water bowl. Very playful and sometimes needing to be reminded to be gentle with our cat. But, all in learning since she is still a pup!! Dior has regained her vision, She walks around objects, in and out doors, maneuvers through small hallways with no problems. Can see small objects in front of her on the floor, retrieves toys when tossed, turns to sound appropriately, can see the tips of my cat's ears sticking out of a box. We are enjoying Dior in all her puppieness! She has found her growl box! The bark came with her! Too cute!!! She is a happy typical puppy. Dior is healing from some ongoing fractures and may need to be montiored for future surgeries.
