Web Link: 24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A873643 About: Meet Dean: A Young Pup Ready for His Second Chance! Looking for a handsome project with a heart of gold? Meet Dean, an adorable 8-month-old tricolor mixed-breed boy who is eager to find his forever home and learn how to be the best companion he can be! Dean, along with one of his littermates Max A873644 and possibly his mother, came to PACC under unfortunate circumstances. They were involved in an incident where they exited an open gate and bit a passerby. Because of his past, Dean is looking for a special adopter – someone who is committed to putting in the hard work to show him how to properly interact with people and navigate the world. He'll also need patient guidance to learn essential skills like walking politely on a leash. We believe Dean could truly blossom in a home with a confident resident dog who can act as a mentor, showing him the ropes of proper dogging and helping him build his confidence. This young boy deserves a chance to grow into the amazing dog we know he can be he just needs the right guidance and understanding home. If you're ready to open your heart and dedicate yourself to shaping a wonderful young dog's future, come to PACC and ask to meet Dean! Available for long term foster care (30+ days) or adoption through PACC. Interested parties: Must visit PACC before the 3:00PM Saturday July 12, 2025 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with. Home Management Plan Bite History • moderate bite- three dogs involved, came out of yard with open gate and bit someone walking by. Needs Training • not leash trained, leash bites, flails • Work on positive reinforcement with your new pup. • Reach out to TOP Dogs [topdogshelp@gmail.com] or an outside professional trainer for assistance. • Go slow with your new dog and do not force handling, as this could make the dog fear bite. • Your new dog will not be affectionate immediately after adoption; they will need patience. • MUST go home with a martingale collar and flat clip leash. Can not go home with A873644
