Beacon was a stray for several months before a good samaritan earned his trust and was able to secure him. He came to us as a medical foster due to being indeterminate for distemper. He’s officially medically clear and ready to find his forever home! Here’s what we have learned so far about this sweet little boy: ?? He enjoys time outside. Beacon loves to sun bathe, chase tennis balls, and roll in the grass. ?? Will likely do well in a home with other dogs. He has met one of our other dogs and is indifferent with her. He may need some guidance on play (just doesnt get it!). ?? Tolerant of handling. Has allowed us to groom him, dress him up, and carry him. ?? Affectionate with people. Hasn’t had any interactions with kids but is relatively low energy so will likely be ok. ?? Has learned a few commands so far (sit, down, shake) and is learning a few more (wait, leave it, touch) ??
