Penelope, along with Prentice and JJ, once had to fend for themselves after being abandoned in the countryside, but they quickly learned that a cozy indoor life with gentle cuddles is far superior to hunting for survival. Although initially shy and easily startled, Penelope would thrive in a calm, semi-quiet home without young children, though she currently coexists with dogs, cats, and a preteen in her foster home after some time to adjust. Her ideal family is patient and willing to give her the gentle introduction she needs, offering her a loving environment and perhaps a soft bed or cat tree to enjoy. Penelope loves her comforts and has been well cared for—she is spayed, current on her rabies vaccination, negative for FIV and FELV, and is already microchipped for added security. While Penelope might need a little time to settle in, once she feels safe, she blossoms in the right home. She is ready for her next chapter and waiting for a person ready to provide her with the warmth and patience she deserves. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
