About Skyy
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Skyy is a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix girl with a lovely yellow and white short coat, who weighs in at 66 pounds. She was surrendered due to her previous owner's health concerns, but she brings a gentle, loving spirit to every room she enters. While Skyy could benefit from losing a bit of weight, her joint issues make extensive exercise a challenge. That said, she delights in bursts of playfulness—zipping around and tossing her favorite stuffed toys whenever the mood strikes. You'll find she has a soft spot for plushies and is content to relax on a comfy bed or even the couch, demonstrating her expert lounging skills. Skyy prefers her sides and ribs not be touched, so a home without very young children is ideal, but she is accustomed to older kids visiting and enjoys their company. She also gets along famously with other dogs and cats, thriving in a calm, friendly environment. Despite her mobility limitations, Skyy enjoys short walks and car rides (occasionally needing a little assistance to get into taller vehicles). When the weather is unkind, she quickly does her business and heads back inside to chill. If you're looking for a lovable companion who takes pleasure in the quieter moments—and who will dazzle you with occasional spunky antics—Skyy could be your perfect match. Born June 16, Skyy is a Gemini, meaning she's likely to surprise you with her playful duality and occasional spurts of energy. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
