We are currently taking at-risk dogs from shelters in the middle of the state as well as those who have been abandoned on the streets of "Heartland" Florida. All of our dogs will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for Heartworm Disease. We will list any known medical or behavioral issues that we're aware of here, but please ask Theresa when contacting her.. She will have more specific details about each dog. She's approximately 12 years old and about 70 pounds. Sugar does have advanced Arthritis in her joints and needs a daily prescription pain reliever. Her adopter will need to understand the importance of annual vet checkups and bloodwork to monitor her meds. She will need them for life. Sugar is an extremely well behaved dog. She's easy to care for and easy to love.. She gets along well with cats and also likes most dogs as long as they're not directly in her face and being rambunctious.
