Meet Pattie - A Gentle, Loving Lapcat Pattie is a deeply affectionate cat who adores people. She will happily curl up in your lap, purr her heart out, and soak in all the gentle pets you're willing to give. She's wonderfully well-mannered and has never scratched, bitten, or even given a warning swat when picked up or handled. Because Pattie is easily frightened by other animals, she needs to be an indoor-only cat in a home where she is the only pet unless a very young kitten is introduced that won't overwhelm her. Her fear of other cats and dogs has caused her to climb up trees when startled, sometimes so scared that she couldn't find her way back down. She has been rescued from four trees already, which is why keeping her exclusively indoors is essential for her safety and well-being. Despite her past fears, Pattie loves people deeply and trusts easily. She has a tender heart and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, affectionate lap cat. She should also do well with children, as she is gentle, patient, and has shown no signs of aggression.
