Nala and Poe are a bonded pair of beautiful Shepherd mixes looking for a forever home together. Nala, now 11 years old, was returned to us after five years through no fault of her own. It breaks our hearts, but we always welcome our PAWS pets back. This time, Nala brought along an adorable bonus—her best friend Poe, who is 8 years old. We couldn’t separate them, so we agreed to take both once a kennel became available. These two are incredibly sweet and share a special bond. However, they will need a home without cats or small dogs. Nala has settled in quite easily, but Poe is struggling with some anxiety in the kennel environment. It’s sad to see, but we’re confident that once he’s in a loving home, he’ll thrive. While Nala can be selective with her canine friends, she absolutely adores Poe.
