Meet Chip - the velvety-soft gentleman who's just as happy lounging by your side as he is exploring the yard on a sunny day. This 3-4-year-old mixed breed may not have a known lineage, but his heart and charm more than make up for it! Chip has a calm, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. He loves sniffing around outside, entertaining himself with a toy, or hanging out near his people - just happy to be part of the action. His foster describes him as a "simple guy with a soft soul." During the day, Chip enjoys some fresh air in his outdoor kennel, and in the evenings or on weekends, he relaxes with his foster family in their cozy pool house. He's still working on his indoor manners and occasionally has accidents, but belly bands and consistency have been helpful tools as he learns. Chip does wonderfully with kids and is friendly with other dogs - especially the ladies - though he's just as content being an only pup soaking up all the love. Chip was heartworm positive when he arrived, but he has since completed treatment and is doing fantastic. He's now healthy, happy, and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him as much as he deserves.
