The good stuff: -Inside the home, Manatee is perfect - house-trained, calm, and affectionate. -Loves having a big yard to stretch her legs and release energy. -Very sweet with her people and bonds closely once she feels secure. -At 9 years old, she still has energy to play but also loves to relax in a quiet space. -Has had foster parents who describe her as wonderful indoors and eager to please when not distracted by other animals. Who she needs: Manatee is looking for her unicorn - a calm, pet-free home where she can live out her golden years without the stress of other animals around her. She needs a secure yard, a safe and quiet environment, and someone patient and committed to her. She has been waiting far too long and is struggling in the shelter - she needs someone to give her the peaceful retirement she deserves.
