Mama is an 8- to 9-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who’s taken her time figuring out what she wants out of life. She came in from the side of the road with her daughter, had more than her fair share of puppies, and now she’d like to spend her retirement years just being loved. Mama is fully house trained and has no problem relaxing on the couch with a fan running. She’ll go in her crate for meals, but otherwise she’d rather sprawl out. She currently lives peacefully with about ten other dogs, mostly older ones, though rambunctious or in-your-face pups can get on her nerves. She’s good with children and easygoing overall, as long as the energy stays mellow. Mama is heartworm positive but has already finished her first round of treatment.
