Flake
AvailableFlake is a young, neutered male Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff mix, about 1 year and 6 months old, living in Jefferson, IA. His coat is short and he has an eye-catching tricolor pattern of brown, black, and white. Flake is not yet house trained, but his vaccinations are current. He is expected to be a large dog as he continues to grow.
About Flake
Flake and his brother Frost landed at the rescue, most likely after being left to fend for themselves. Flake is the brown and black pup, noticeably smaller than his black and white brother. Heās incredibly affectionate and sweet-natured, though he can get possessive with food around his sibling, so separate meals work best. Flake has shown zero aggression toward people and loves attention. Heās fine meeting other dogs but, like most young pups, will benefit from some basic manners training. Both brothers are happy, affectionate, growing fast, and expected to be large when fully grown. Either one would bring a lot of warmth to a homeāwhether youāre looking for a pair or just one new friend. Fun fact: Flake is a Scorpio, which might explain his bold and loyal temperament.
