About Sam

Click apply to start the adoption process. Sam is a sweet-natured male who stands about 19 inches tall at the shoulder. He has a healthy, lean, and muscular build, weighing 46 lbs and estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old. Sam is neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. As a Pisces (born March 8), he’s likely to show extra sensitivity and an affectionate personality—traits you can expect from this lovable dog! Playful with an abundance of energy, Sam thrives on daily walks and does beautifully on a leash. He enjoys people, loves his toys, and is a fan of games like fetch and "keep away." Sam shows off his charming personality by sitting up on his hind legs and offering a paw for a handshake. His cheerful attitude is best experienced in person and makes him instantly endearing. Currently, Sam’s foster parents keep him in the garage with regular access to the backyard. He sleeps in or on an open crate with cozy bedding and is fully house trained, letting everyone know when he needs a bathroom break with a quick bark. Sam has a good appetite, eating Purina Pro Plan twice daily. Sam shares outdoor playtime with the foster family's other dogs and gets along well with them in the yard. However, he is not suited to a home with cats, as he does not get along with them. If you’d like to learn more or schedule a meeting, don’t hesitate to apply. Every animal deserves a happy ending.
