About Neal
Start your journey together! Apply now. Neal is the sweetest little boy, ready to fill your life with joy and affection! He loves his toys and treats, and like all puppies, he thrives on routine and will benefit from continued training. If you welcome this adorable pup into your family, you'll find yourself surrounded by his love. Neal enjoys spending time with his kennel mate Captain and does well with him, but can be a bit shy at first around new dogs, so a slow introduction is recommended. He adores walks and is still learning leash manners—his playful energy sometimes turns walks into zooming adventures! This smart boy is already picking up basic commands like "sit." The shelter team hopes Neal finds a family of his own soon, as he deserves to grow up in a loving home. On a recent outing, Neal showed off his curiosity and gentle, sweet personality. He takes treats softly, makes great eye contact, and charms everyone with his playful pounces during ball games. A true cuddle bug, Neal seeks reassurance and closeness, especially when meeting new people. While initially wary around men and sudden movements, he quickly warms up with positive experiences and treats. He’s also interested in other dogs, but can be redirected easily. Neal goes potty outside and had no accidents during his field trip, quickly settling down afterward for a snuggly nap with his favorite toy. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
