Koda is a big, grinning Australian Shepherd/Catahoula mix, about three years old and full of love and energy. He has a huge heart, plenty of stamina, and craves both adventure and affection. Exercise matters to him—he’s happiest taking long walks, runs, or spending active time with an enthusiastic companion. Koda knows how to sit and is eager to please, but still needs some patient training with leash manners and other basics. He’s social with other dogs, though he’ll bark at them during walks just to get their attention to play. Koda is not suitable for homes with cats or children. He came into rescue after the loss of his lifelong senior guardian, so he’s looking for a fresh start and a committed person ready for a true exercise partner.
