About Danny Boy
Danny is a beautiful black fluffy lhasapoo that we paid to have trapped a year ago running loose in mint hill. Danny is good inside once you leash him up. He has had some time in a foster home previously and did well with housebreaking and is crate and leash trained. He would be best if he were an only dog now so he will really bond with a human. Please only apply to foster or adopt if you have worked with semi feral or very fearful dogs. Www.peanutsplacerescue.org click application scroll down til it appears. Update: Fosters really do bridge that gap for us from lost to loved. Danny Boy is making such huge strides in a week. Look at this handsome boy! Once a trapped stray that is now living the good life on the inside! Danny Boy is housebroken crate and now leash trained. He’s not quite a snuggler yet but he is loving lounging and finally started playing with toys. He’s best as an only dog or a female dog. Fenced yard required. Adult home. Danny Boy is about a yr old and 15lbs possibly a schnoodle. Fully vetted and ready for adoption now at www.peanutsplacerescue.org. Text 7046509653 for appts. Danny Boy was a stray dog who had been running the highways for weeks. We paid a trapper to catch Danny in the hopes he had a family. But he did not. Danny was in deplorable condition for such a young dog. And he was what we consider “feral” after being on his own probably his whole life. Danny was able to get groomed without being muzzled and it was a complete shavedown. Danny is scared though. He will not readily allow handling but is great with all dogs. We were able to get him vetted except he is awaiting a neuter appt yet. He accepted all handling by our vet for shots and heartworm test. For now we are looking for a dedicated foster or foster to adopt home who will be patient and have a safe fenced yard to work with Danny Boy on trusting humans. He’s very young at about a yr old and weighs 15lbs so we are very confident he can become a loving pet. Please apply at www.peanutsplacerescue.org
