Phyllis Lapin had a “thing” about rain on TV’s The Office. One of her office mates said that she had “the same 12 clichés every time it rains.” I’m Phyllis, a short-haired kitten who came to Paws and Claws from a farm that was “raining cats and dogs”, Ms. Lapin would say. I didn’t see dogs falling from the sky. There were just cats, too many cats. Ten of us came together, and although we are shy when we first meet new people, we enjoy attention and petting.
