About Roro
Roro (short for Rosalina) is a 9-year-old, all-black American Shorthair who has been a cherished part of her family's life since kittenhood. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and in excellent health. Roro is calm and independent, showing a shy side when she first meets new people, but once she trusts you, her quiet sweetness really shines through. When she comes over for pets or settles onto your lap in the winter, it feels like a rare and genuine gift. She’s not the cuddliest cat and prefers her affection on her own terms, but she does love gentle brushing and quiet company. Playtime is a favorite—especially chasing hair ties tossed across the floor. She also takes her scratching post seriously and can often be found perched somewhere high, keeping an eye on things or soaking up the sun. Roro thrives indoors and isn’t comfortable around dogs—she’ll keep her distance if any are around. With other cats, she’s gentle and peaceable, doing her own thing. She’d do best in a calm home without young kids or dogs, but could be just fine with older, cat-savvy children who understand boundaries. Experienced cat owners would likely appreciate her independent but affectionate nature, though patient first-time owners willing to respect her needs could be a match too. Her family is happy to stay in touch to answer questions and help ensure Roro lands somewhere she’ll feel at ease, safe and valued for who she is. Start your journey together! Apply now.
