About Sammy
Sammy’s life hasn’t been easy. Right now, he’s stuck in a small outdoor crate around the clock, toughing out the elements while a volunteer tries to find him a way out. He’s about three years old and full of sweetness—people who meet him can’t get over how gentle and soulful he is. With those sharp, mesmerizing eyes and a charming face, he has the classic American Staffordshire Terrier look that turns heads. Sammy enjoys playing with other dogs and does especially well with kids. He does not get along with cats, so a feline-free home is best.
