About Panda
Panda had a tough start after being adopted as a puppy—her early family meant well but allowed her to develop some bad habits and an insecure streak. Since coming back to the rescue, she’s made real progress. In her current foster home, Panda lives alongside several other dogs where boundaries and clear leadership keep her stable and thriving. She plays well with dogs of all sizes, matching her play style to her buddies, from gentle with smaller pups to rowdy with those who enjoy it. She loves to chew on bones and antlers and rarely guards her resources now. Panda responds best in a home that values structure—no letting dogs take over the couch, clear rules at mealtimes, things like that. She’s house trained, does well in her crate, and is picking up obedience basics like sit, down, and place. Panda still has a little stranger danger; she needs new people to ignore her at first, but within 15 minutes, she’s ready for affection. She’s similar with new dogs—she needs slow introductions. With strong leadership, Panda is happy in a home with other dogs, but in homes lacking that, she’d be best as the only dog. Panda also does well with children who understand structure and boundaries. Think you can offer this smart, sensitive dog a structured, loving home? Your new best friend is just one click away.
