About Oci
Oci’s story started out rough—he wandered into a tree nursery as a four-month-old, hungry and in need of shelter. The caretaker took him in, offering safety and some affection, but sadly, not everyone there was so kind. After enduring mistreatment at the hands of the nursery’s owner, Oci was rescued and placed with a foster who showed him what life could be. Everything was brand new for him: leashes, bowls, basic training—the works. Once he trusted his foster, Oci lit up, turning into a happy, affectionate companion who’s always up for belly rubs and attention. He quickly learned the basics and enjoys car rides, is house trained, and knows some commands. He is still working on leash skills, but that's improving. Oci gets along with most big or female dogs, loves greeting people, and is eager for ongoing training in a patient, supportive home. He does not do well with cats and needs adopters who are open to a home check. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
