Smudge is a gray and white Domestic Short Hair cat living in Lapeer, MI. He’s an adult male, roughly 4 years and 4 months old, with a large frame and short coat. Smudge is neutered, house trained, and his vaccinations are up to date. Although he doesn’t have special needs, he’s best suited to a home where he can be the only pet.

About Smudge

Smudge landed himself some luck last winter when someone scooped him out of the cold and into a safe spot. His original rescuer wanted to keep him, but her resident cats were having none of it, so Smudge made his way to a cozy spot at PAR, where he’s settled into indoor life just fine. He’s all about a soft bed, his very own food bowl, and especially toys—Smudge can entertain himself for ages, and he picks the prime window seat for bird watching. He’s a classic tomcat with a big presence and an even bigger personality. Smudge truly loves people but only on his terms. He’s not looking for a crowd or other animals, so he’s best as the lone pet. Shop cat duties, “critter clearance,” or being someone’s workshop buddy would suit him perfectly. He has a touch of the alpha in him, and for now he isn’t interested in sharing space with other cats or dogs, though he’s fine around respectful kids. Smudge is neutered, tested, and vaccinated, and his special adoption fee is sponsored to help him find a fitting place to call home. Born January 8th, he’s a Capricorn—sturdy, persistent, and fiercely loyal once he’s chosen his person. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
