About Persimmon
Start your journey together! Apply now. Persimmon is a young cat with a spirited personality and lots of stories to tell. Still learning a few boundaries, she's eager for her happily ever after in a home where she can stay busy with plenty of toys and have a favorite window to gaze out of. Persimmon adores stretching up tall to scratch her posts—make sure you have several sturdy ones for her enjoyment! She can live with other cats when introduced properly, but as an alpha personality she isn't suited to senior or shy kitties. In her current foster home, she hasn't had any issues with the resident dog, and would do just fine with older kids who understand her playful nature. For her continued well-being, a feeding schedule and designated eating spaces are recommended, as she does get a bit too enthusiastic about food. Your new best friend is just one click away. All of the pets from this rescue receive age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and FIV tests, spay/neuter surgery, and a microchip. The rescue works with a dedicated network of foster homes and volunteers, and visits are by approved application only to respect foster privacy.
