About Griffon
Griffon is a soulful 6 ½-year-old with plenty of personality, born October 25th—so he’s got that classic Scorpio mix of spirit and charm. Weighing about 46 lbs, this medium-sized guy has been vetted, will be neutered, and is microchipped, ready for a real home. He settles best in a calm, structured environment where routines feel familiar and peaceful. Griffon spends downtime relaxing on his bed, soaking up attention, but when the mood strikes—usually when you return after being away—he switches gears and greets you with a burst of playful energy. Griffon’s a sharp learner and knows basic commands, responding well to e-collar training and sounds. He’s house trained, does well in his crate, and isn’t much trouble around the home. There are a few quirks to note: he has some sensitivities when it comes to being physically moved or forced off furniture, so gentle direction is key—call him over, and he’ll listen. Because of this, he needs a child-free, quiet household, ideally rural with fewer comings and goings. He’ll benefit from a confident dog companion at home, but he mostly ignores distractions and keeps his cool on walks. With a bit of patience and a low-key lifestyle, Griffon has a lot to offer—he’s all heart and smarts, and more updates will come as he settles in. Adoption applications are open if Griffon sounds like the right fit for your world. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
