About Goldie
Goldie is an easygoing, personable German Shepherd with a light heart and a low maintenance streak. She loves a lively game of fetch, playtime with toys, and, most of all, spending time with her people. Children are her favorite, and she shines in family settings. Goldie loves going for car rides, handles the leash like a pro, and knows how to settle down quietly, especially when outside. She's clever to the point of figuring out door handles and gate latches—her ideal yard will need secure, out-of-reach locks. Goldie adapts quickly, soaks up attention, and is happiest when cuddling in close. While she stays calm on walks when passing dogs or cats, she can be reactive in open contact and will do best as the only pet in her new home. Her foster's impending move makes finding her a new place—at least temporarily—urgent. Consider opening your home to this overlooked "super pup" as a foster or even a foster-to-adopt. Goldie’s looking for her next chapter. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
