Detour is a lively, playful Collie/Shepherd/Heeler mix, estimated to be around 2–3 years old, with a tricolor coat of brown, black, and white. He’s friendly, outgoing, and loves meeting new people—he’s quick to greet with enthusiasm. Detour would make an ideal buddy for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and generally thrives in an active home. He gets along well with other dogs and would be happy either as a solo dog with an energetic owner or with a canine playmate. He recently met children at an adoption event and did great, though he does sometimes jump up out of excitement and is working on learning better manners.
