About Roxie
Roxie is a sweet and resilient kitty in need of a quiet, understanding forever home. Spent months in a small shelter cage surrounded by barking dogs, she is now sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, making a calm environment essential for her well-being. With limited vision and some cognitive impairment, Roxie faces mobility challenges and can’t jump or run quickly. When startled, she might flop around and occasionally experience bladder accidents. Her foster currently expresses her bladder twice daily to help minimize these incidents. Despite her challenges, Roxie has a lovely personality. She enjoys lounging under her foster dad’s desk and loves his company. Food is a favorite, often finding her staring contentedly at her bowl. You’ll find her playful side emerge as she gathers mouse toys by her blanket. Roxie must be the only pet in a tranquil household, possibly accepting another very calm companion. She’s best suited for an adult home, especially with gentle, understanding caretakers. If you’re someone who understands the needs of a special-needs pet, Roxie could be the perfect fit. Join Roxie on her journey to a loving forever home.
