About Hyacinth!

Hyacinth! is a striking tabby kitten from a litter of four, all born at Owensboro Humane Society. She shares her days with her siblings Aster, Dahlia, and Oleander, and you can find each of them listed here as well. Hyacinth! is sweet-tempered, energetic, and a joy to watch as she tumbles and races around with her littermates. Despite her playful, curious streak, she’s healthy and bright, always ready for more kitten games. Because Hyacinth! has only ever known feline company, she must go to a home with a friendly kitty already present or be adopted with one of her brothers or sisters—she truly needs feline companionship to thrive. Owensboro Humane Society has ensured she’s off to a great start in life: she’ll be spayed at 6 months, has current vaccinations—including leukemia, all-in-one, and rabies—and is FIV/FeLV negative. She’s also been dewormed and deflead. A microchip is required at adoption and offered on site. A few adoption notes: Hyacinth! will only be adopted as an indoor cat. She isn’t a fit for homes with aggressive dogs or children, and you’ll need a solid vet history or be ready to start one. The rescue requires a signed no-declaw contract. Her loving, lively spirit makes her well worth these efforts, and if you are after a gentle, social companion who adores the company of other cats, Hyacinth! is a great fit. Cancer sun signs like hers are often intuitive and affectionate, which matches Hyacinth!’s vibe perfectly. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
