About Hodgepodge

Start your journey together! Apply now. Hodgepodge, affectionately known as Hodge, had a heartbreaking start—he was found abandoned in an apartment dumpster inside his carrier, rescued just in time by a caring passerby. Understandably, he startles easily at loud and sudden movements, likely a result of his rough beginnings and unfamiliarity with gentle human care prior to his rescue. Despite his challenging past, Hodge is truly a sweet, loving, and cuddly boy who craves affection and warmth. It’s important to know that Hodge will need ample time—several weeks or even months—to fully settle in and feel safe, as he may hide at first in new places. He was previously adopted but returned after a week due to his shyness, though he’s shown fantastic adaptability over time on our adoption floor. Hodgepodge’s birthday is April 30, making him a Taurus—a sun sign known for its loyal and gentle spirit, which shines through in his affectionate, patient nature. If you can offer a calm and patient environment, Hodge is ready to blossom and bring comfort to your home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
