About Janet
Janet’s story starts in the roughest way—a one-week-old kitten, orphaned at a campground. A kindhearted man stepped up, bottle feeding her and providing care, but when his own housing situation went sideways, he brought her to safety at the shelter. Today Janet is a sturdy, good-natured torbie with a short, easy-care coat. Life’s early shake-ups haven’t left her bitter; she’s remained social, playful, and full of affection for both people and fellow cats. She’s also gentle with children, making her a great match for a lively household. She’s fully litter box trained, spayed, and her vaccinations are current. Since she was born on August 31, Janet is a Virgo—known for their keen sense of curiosity and composure. Janet is eager for a permanent home that will love her for life.
