About Chloe
Chloe has been with her foster for about six months after escaping a tough, abusive start. It took her a couple of months to trust her foster mom and the resident dogs, but once she came around, her personality really showed—lively, goofy, and always ready to play. Chloe thrives on activity: she’s happiest running, jumping, and being silly, and her energy is matched by her affectionate nature. Now about a year old, Chloe is house trained and follows basic commands like "sit." She’s calm and confident on walks, although her experiences have made her sensitive about leashes—she’ll do best with a harness, which will come with her adoption. While Chloe eventually learned to get along with other dogs in her foster home, she’d prefer to be the only dog. That said, she does well with cats and small animals. Chloe is most comfortable with a woman as her primary caretaker but can adapt to a home with a male if needed. She’s a good fit for families with kids over 8 or for adults without children. Her adoption includes full vetting, and foster-to-adopt is an option. Chloe has come a long way and is ready for a safe, steady home to call her own. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
