About Keydah
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Keydah! This shy but sweet girl just needs a little time to warm up to new people. She gets along beautifully with cats, although she prefers not to share her space with other dogs. Keydah is both kennel and house trained, and she’ll even ring a bell to let you know when she needs to go outside. She’s a big fan of car rides and will be your best road trip companion, but she can be a bit skittish in new environments. Because of her shy nature, she would do best in an all-adult home or with older, respectful children who understand her need for patience and space. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Keydah
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Pit Bull Terrier/German Shepherd mixes thrive in homes with active owners who can provide them with daily exercise, mental stimulation, and clear routines. They do well in houses with secure yards but can also adapt to apartment living if their exercise needs are met.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A pit bull terrier/german shepherd mix benefits from access to a secure backyard or frequent trips to a park where they can burn off energy. While a large fenced yard is ideal, regular walks and playtime are essential if outdoor space is limited.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
When properly socialized, these mixes can be excellent family dogs, though their energy and strength may be best managed with older or respectful children. Early training and supervision are key to a harmonious household.
