About Melanie

Melanie arrived at the rescue as a feral cat with a litter of kittens and initially kept her distance from people. Over time, she learned to trust again and now shows her affectionate side to those she knows. Melanie is especially opinionated about her meals—a true foodie who will make herself heard if her bowl isn’t promptly refilled. She is vocal and enjoys telling you when it’s time to eat. Melanie can be selective with feline companions, depending on their reactions toward her, and finds dogs overwhelming. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and tested negative for feline leukemia. If you’re looking for a talkative and soulful cat who’s come a long way, Melanie might be the one you’ve been waiting for. Your new best friend is just one click away.
